GEOLABS-WESTLAKE VILLAGE was founded in 1983, as an independent consulting firm specializing in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering. Our principals and registered staff bring a combined total of almost 80 years of professional experience to the corporation. With their experience, we are able to provide a full range of geotechnical capabilities to our clients, with an emphasis on practical, economical solutions.

Our professional staff of geologists and engineers is supported by a state-of-the-art laboratory and a team of highly qualified, fully equipped technicians utilizing an array of sophisticated testing equipment and computer assisted analytical techniques.

We take pride in our ability to effectively and efficiently respond to a wide variety of clients' needs, ranging from single-lot projects to regional shopping centers to residential developments involving hundreds of lots. We also serve various jurisdictions by providing geotechnical consulting services for public projects such as: water tanks, street improvements, public buildings, and storm drain facilities. Our office and field personnel are adept at coordinating backfill of infrastructure, which includes pavement of cement slurry, recycling onsite material for reuse of backfill, pavement structural section design, cement treat, lime treat, petromat installation, asphalt testing (lab and field), traffic control, and interfacing with public and private sectors.
